A very nice, clean hotel. The rooms were immaculate, The air-conditioning worked great, no problem at all with the Wi-Fi, all very important to me. The water is pretty deep, starting at about 4 feet on the shallow end and up to 10 feet in the deep end. The exercise room also could use some work as some of the machines did not work properly. The breakfast buffet was average. All in all a nice hotel which was walking distance to the war cemetery, food and shopping.
Exactly what we wanted. A Thai medium range hotel. One room in our party had not been cleaned properly - floor messy and used towel still in there but quickly fixed. The staff put us all in the wrong rooms but quickly realised and moved us to better rooms.
All good after that. Great pillows - so soft. Breakfast was as expected from a hotel of this class and price range. I would use it again for similar trips. Though the facade of the hotel looks quite grand and classic but that's all it is. I guess they never renovate the hotel since the 90s? Every single day when I returned to my room, the toilet was infested with hatched mosquito larvae easily of them and they will be flying around in the toilet.
After you are done killing them, the room is quite liveable. It's almost in the same building so to speak. Oh yes, the saving grace is that breakfast was decent. Great value for money in just the right location with nice staff. The hotel is old, but it is properly maintained.
It look like it was a nice hotel before. The room is big, there is bathtub and the water heating and pressure is good. AC works well and bed, room is big.
