Great place to stay, very elegant with all the Western amenities. I went there for breakfast, the Horrible experience! Offered sex for money. Should be raided. Do not waste your vacation money here. Not children friendly. Not anyone friendly. Could not get refund! A very, very good hotel, with an outstanding beach area and pool.
Staff was most helpful and polite. A special shoutout to the lady running the kids club. Our 4-year old son rather wanted to stay longer with her, than go to the beach with mom and dad; Also a great beach area, with a pool and high quality restaurant.
My only wish would have been a bit wider queensize beds; By far the best we had while vacationing in Vietnam.
Would warmly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Vung Tau. Like stepping back in time, this hotel has all the charm of the French Colonial era. Even the porters are dressed in red uniforms with hard hats and look a bit like Canadian Mounties.
The entire staff, especially Denzel were efficient and friendly, although the staff in the Chinese restaurant did not have much English and ere actually quite rude. They had to constantly get Jimmy to interpret for them. Well done Jimmy. The rooms were huge and the beds comfortable and there was a bigrange of swimming ;pool options, everything from a long lap pool to an island pool, to a wet edge pool and spa right on the beach, which was actually across the road.
